A New Player in Local Elections: Affordable Maryland

· 57:10

|
The 2023 City of Rockville election saw more non-candidate activity than elections in recent memory. Along with State Senator Cheryl Kagan's splashy mailer and social media activity on behalf of candidates, Affordable Maryland joined Greater Greater Washington and CASA as a prominent endorser. Unlike GGW and CASA, Affordable Maryland is solely a super PAC. Suzan and FOP (friend of podcast) Matt Perkins spoke to Jonathan Robinson, Chair of Affordable Maryland, about the formation of the PAC, local elections, and getting involved.
